Salah the Second Fundamental principle of Islam
Allah has said in the Holy Quran: "I have not created the jinn and humankind for any other purpose except that they should worship me." (Holy Qur'an 51:56)
From the above verse of Holy Quran it is clear that the purpose for which we are created by Allah is no other than that of the worship of Allah. There are many demonstrations of worship in Islam, and Salah is a standout amongst the most vital mandatory acts.

On the Day of Judgment people have to pass over Pul-Siraat. Requirements of Salah:
Your body must be cleaned of any kind of impurity or dirt. All the stuff you are wearing must be clean. The place where you are offering Salah must be clean. The basic requirement is that the place where you to stand and where your knees, hands and brow would rest in Sajdah, must be clean, regardless of whether it is a bit of plain ground or floor, or a tangle.Each Salah has to be pray on the given time limit. If you offer a Salah before its time it has no worth. And if a Salah if offered after the time it will be counted as Qada. Another very important requirement of Salah is Direction. Your face must be turned towards accurate Qibla direction otherwise your Prayer won't be regarded to have been performed.
Hadith emphasize on the important of Salah:
“Surely the Angel of Death repels Satan from the proximity of one who had adhered to and guarded his prayers, and makes him speak out the testimony of ‘There is no God except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah’ during that terrifying and frightening state (of death).”Wasa’ilush Shi`a, Volume 3, Page 19
“One obligatory prayer is better than performing Hajj twenty times, and the performance of one Hajj is better than giving away a house full of gold.”
